Parent cooking class: Healthy & quick cuisine

“Families in focus” at the parent cooking class in the university dining hall
AG Familienfreundliche Wissenschaftsstadt is continuing its new series of events “Families in Focus” with a class in the university dining hall on Pontwall. Under the motto “Healthy and quick family cooking”, fathers and mothers can not only learn interesting facts about healthy eating, but also cook for themselves on Wednesday, 19 February.
Preparing healthy meals for the family can be a challenge at a time when many of us are juggling busy schedules. It is often assumed that fast food is necessarily unhealthy. But the opposite is true: with the right ingredients and creative recipes, you can conjure up a balanced and tasty meal in a hurry. The class is aimed at families who want a varied and conscious diet to promote not only physical health, but also satisfaction when eating together.
The chefs from the dining hall show how it's done
The cooking event starts at 7 p.m. in Mensa Academica (Pontwall 3, 52062 Aachen) and offers practical tips and inspiration. Sahra Groteclaes and Daniel Wahlen from Studierendenwerk Aachen will show participants how to prepare healthy dishes quickly and easily. From hearty porridge variations and nutritious breakfast ideas to quick oven dishes, there is something for everyone.
The class is free of charge and the number of participants is limited to 12. Studierendenwerk Aachen accepts registrations via e-mail: carmen.reiss-frings@stw.rwth-aachen.de
