AUTOLOAD: Ahornstraße and Bayernallee shut down

• Starting 31 August AUTOLOAD will no longer be available at the Bayernallee and Ahornstraße cafeterias
• Earlier closing times on 28 August due to a cash register upgrade

The AUTOLOAD system (cashless reloading via direct debit) will be phased out due to a cash register upgrade in the dining hall area. More information 

Upgrade Dates in August
At Mensa Bayernallee (including the coffee bar) and Mensa Ahornstraße, the cash registers will be upgraded on Monday, 31 August. The AUTOLOAD system will no longer be available at these locations after that date.

Early closing time
Due to the start of the transition, these two facilities will close at 1 pm on Friday, 28 August.

Top-ups starting 31 August will only be available at the machines!
We ask all guests at the above-mentioned facilities to top up their cards at the machines. Topping up at the cash registers (AUTOLOAD) will no longer be technically possible after the transition.
Important: It is essential to check in advance whether there is enough credit on the card. This is the only way to avoid lines at the registers.

Where is AUTOLOAD no longer available?
The following dining halls have already been converted:

• Bistro Templergraben
• Cafeteria ESStw
• Bistro Kackertstraße
• Mensa Jülich
• Mensa Vita

We’ll provide timely updates through our channels about when and in which other dining halls/cafeterias AUTOLOAD will no longer be available, and where our machines will need to be used temporarily.
