BAföG information tour stops at Studierendenwerk

These days, almost 500,000 young people are starting university studies in Germany, around 5,000 of them at the university locations in Aachen and Jülich. However, not all of them have the necessary financial support from their families. The Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG) ensures that even those whose parents are unable to finance their education are able to study.
In order to provide targeted information about BAföG, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has once again launched an "information tour" on the subject of BAföG. The tour will stop at 38 university locations from 4 October to 2 November.
On 12 October, the tour will also make a stop at Pontwall in Aachen. Together with experienced advisors from Studierendenwerk, the BAföG team will be on hand in the Mensa Academica from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to answer all questions about financial assistance for students, trainees and pupils. In a personal conversation, practical tips are given for successful applications and good arguments why this can be worthwhile. From A to Z - at the BAföG tour interested students learn everything they want to know about BAföG.
