Become the Quiz Master!

Every other week in the winter term 2016/17 WDR 5 presents “Quiz Master” at a different university in NRW. We are happy to welcome the WDR quiz team of WDR 5 Leonardo in Mensa Academica!

The participating teams have to demonstrate their general and specialized knowledge. The best team will be in the grand finale and can win a visit to the European Astronaut Center. From stars to a star dinner: The winners will prepare a delicious winners’ menu with show cook Helmut Gote.

How to sign up

Whether you want to participate alone, in pairs or with a group of eight persons maximum – everybody can sign up for the Mensaquiz. If you do not sign up as a complete team you will be assigned to a group – social networking is included!

You don’t have to be a student in order to take part. The participation criteria are that you have team spirit and enjoy quiz shows.

Gameplay

Three rounds – 60 questions. Quiz master Bastian Biet guides you through the world of science. In addition to textbook questions you’ll have to solve tricky brain-teasers. The team that scores the most points wins.

The winning team gets a “goodie bag” und takes part in the big finale on 10 February 2017 in Cologne. The winner of the finale gets the first prizes described above.
