Drinking Water Advisory Jülich
Coffee sales at Mensa Jülich have been suspended for the time being. This is due to an urgent drinking water advisory issued by Stadtwerke Jülich.
During routine testing of drinking water in Güsten, enterococci were detected. Samples taken at the same time from other locations in the city showed no such contamination. In consultation with the public health department, Stadtwerke Jülich nevertheless recommends, as a precautionary measure, that drinking water throughout the city be boiled before use until further notice.
