Lousberglauf 2016

For more than 30 years, the Lousberglauf has called runners to Aachen and in all these years it has lost nothing of its attractiveness. Not only students join the race covering 5,555 kilometers - it has become an event for all Aachen citizens.

How does StW Aachen support the race event?
As provider of social services for students StW Aachen has supported the University Sports Centre in organizing the event for many years: Our electricians secure the electricity supply and provide technical equipment. The janitors as well as the volunteers from the residence halls will be there to help. The area around and inside the “Towers” can be used by the organizing team. We run the catering for the VIP Pavilion and supply the helpers’ teams with sandwiches. Our dextrose delivers the needed energy after the race.

In the week of the race our chefs prepare special sports menus: From 11 to 13 July we offer dishes with a lot of carbohydrates and vitamins. Check the menus!
