Lousberglauf: Hand in hand with Studierendenwerk!

When the starting signal is given in Rütscher Straße, Studierendenwerk Aachen, as a long-standing partner of the University Sports Center, is fully involved. As a social service provider for students in the areas of university dining halls, halls of residence, student finance and childcare - especially as the operator of the four striking student residence towers in Rütscher Straße - Studierendenwerk supports the organizers with all its capacities.

How Studierendenwerk supports the organizers
Every year, Studierendenwerk makes part of its halls of residence around the towers available and provides rooms for organizational matters such as issuing race numbers or timekeeping. The sanitary facilities in the halls of residence are available to participants before and after the run and are continuously cleaned and stocked.

Studierendenwerk's electricians ensure a reliable power supply for the technical facilities, while the janitors are on site as contact persons. Numerous volunteers from the halls of residence also provide active support. In addition, Studierendenwerk is responsible for catering in the VIP and press pavilion and providing the teams of helpers with sandwiches. With apples and bananas as refreshments after the finish line, this year for the first time the active participants will also receive a small StW goodie.

Power menus in the dining halls
Studierendenwerk dinin halls are also getting into the right mood: every year, the chefs prepare delicious power menus to give the athletes extra energy. This year, they are even serving the popular power-over-the-mountain dishes on three days.

Supporting the Lousberglauf is very important to Studierendenwerk. It demonstrates its commitment as a partner to students above and beyond its usual duties. Ute von Drathen, Head of Corporate Communications at Studierendenwerk, emphasizes: "In addition to the good food in our dining halls, the fun of sport and exercise also promotes the health and well-being of students. This common goal has always united us with the University Sports Center and continues to drive our collaboration."
