Upcoming special in the dining halls: Harvest festival

The harvest feast is one of the oldest celebrations in the world, for example in the USA it is known as Thanksgiving. With parades, fairs or festive altars people celebrate and give thanks to a successful harvest in the end of the summer. Of course, harvest feasts are celebrated with a lot of good food – just like in the Studierendenwerk dining halls: In the week of 1 October we serve you freshly harvested fruits and vegetables, made into delicious dishes such as potato pancakes with stewed apples or savoy cabbage with bacon and smoked beef.
