Finally: Our big student recipe contest MENSA STAR celebrates its comeback in February! We are looking forwar to your recipe ideas!

This year, however, there are some changes: Not only that there will be an additional competition category with the vegan main course, but also that part of the jury will come from the student ranks!

If you are a student at one of the four Aachen universities and would like to be one of the eight student jury members, you are welcome to apply to us.  We are looking for two students for each category - because it is clear that as a vegan you don't care much about meat dishes and you probably don't want to judge them.

As a member of the jury you will help to make a pre-selection for the online voting. Keep in mind that we will send you quite a few recipes that you will have to look at - therefore, it should be a prerequisite that you not only have some empathy for the topics dining halls and cooking, but also some time for it. Also, you are not allowed to participate with your own recipes, but that should be clear.

Participation and application via email
Send an email to jury-mensastar@stw.rwth-aachen.de. Include your name, your university and the competition category, as well as a few sentences about why you would like to be a member of the MENSA STAR jury.

The student jury members will only be selected after the deadline for the submission of prescriptions has passed. Therefore, you will only receive the information on 27 February  whether you will participate as a juror (if there are several applicants, the decision will be made by lot). You will receive all further information in an email.
