MENSA STAR 2026: The online voting

Who cooks like a pro and has the best recipe for the dining hall?

The jury has made a decision for the final online voting of the Mensa Star – as from Tuesday, 12 May it’s in our customers’ hands!

146 recipes were sent in! Five recipes of the four categories (main course with fish or meat, vegetarian, vegan main course and dessert) have been selected. Among others the selection criteria were practicability of the recipe in a dining hall kitchen, taste and creativity. Students supported us in the jury voting. Thank you!

What is going to happen after the online voting? The best recipe authors of the four categories can look forward to a great prize: Not only are their meals going to be prepared in all dining halls, but they and the second and third place winners are rewarded with dining hall vouchers with a total value of €900 (see below). On top of that, all online voters can win vouchers for the dining halls.

All finalists and the jurors are invited to a small award ceremony in Mensa Academica - the result of the voting remains a secret until the end!
