Stressprävention_2

Prevent stress, strengthen resources!

Stress prevention begins in everyday life. To stay healthy, productive and focused in the long term, it is important to recognize and counteract signs of fatigue, excessive demands and stress reactions at an early stage. Our free offer especially for students combines simple, practical ways to reduce stress with individual advice on regeneration - so that you gain energy instead of losing it!

In cooperation with Barmer Ersatzkasse and art educator Christina Vedar, Studierendenwerk invites you to the following events:

January 15, 2026
“Balance-Check”
Measurement of heart variability and more

Further Informationen

Seize the opportunity and take a few minutes for your health. Measuring the fluctuation of the heart rate during and through the breathing movement provides information about the current state of your inner regulatory and regenerative capacity.

The ability to regenerate is necessary in all situations in life so that a person can regenerate properly, both physically and mentally. Put simply, your personal ability to relax and therefore your resistance to stress is determined.

Immediately afterwards, you will receive individual advice with tips and solutions that suit your personal situation. The results of the measurement are of course confidential and only for you personally. No data or information will be passed on to other parties. The measurement is completely free of charge for you and is not dependent on BARMER membership.

Important for you:

  • The measurement is free of charge
  •  You do not have to be insured with BARMER
  • Your data will remain confidential and will not be passed on

“Mind the gap”: Between stress and strength
An art therapy workshop to prevent stress and strengthen inner resources

Further Informationen

In this practice-oriented workshop, you will learn to recognize your own stress patterns and counter them with creative methods. Through artistic exercises such as painting, collage and symbol work, mindfulness, self-care and inner resources are strengthened. The course promotes your mental health and supports the development of individual strategies for coping with stress in everyday student life. Personal “messages to go” - small artistic reminders - accompany you in your everyday life. Supplemented by mindfulness units, self-reflection and a creative exchange in the group, the workshop offers an effective and holistic form of stress prevention.

What you can expect:

  • Mindfulness & self-reflection
  • Creative exercises to strengthen your inner resources
  •  Development of your personal “message to go” - a small reminder for more balance in everyday life
